Craft brewery brand launch
The goal for the owners was to create a friendly place for people to come and enjoy great beer. We set out to create positioning and design that would help the young startup stand out in a crowded space. The design and branding was built to scale strategically over the next several years.

The guys at Bay City had the name established (their brewery sits directly between San Diego Bay and nearby Mission Bay) and came to us to bring it to life. For inspiration, we dug in to the history of the specific neighborhood of the brewery (San Diego’s Midway District), and created a look and feel that pays homage to the past and celebrates the city’s current place of importance in the craft beer scene.
