Illumina is one of the most innovative bio-technology companies in the world. Their long list of achievements and breakthroughs in genomics is unmatched. So is their unique culture. We were challenged to design a piece to showcase that culture.

We asked Illumina personnel to note what they find most inspiring about their experience at such a pioneering company, what bold goals they hope to contribute to, and then used the handwritten responses to add a personalized touch.

We created a printed piece for employees and candidates that highlights the unique culture at Illumina. We commissioned photoshoots in three cities to convey an authentic portrait of daily life at the company.
