Francis Parker School Fundraising Support
Campaign Strategy / Print Design / Motion Design / Publication Design
A respected San Diego institution needed communications and fundraising materials worthy of its ambition—and its audience.

Overview
Francis Parker School engaged us across multiple years to support fundraising and communications efforts for both their capital and annual campaigns. The work helped Parker reach their campaign goals, grow annual giving year over year, and earn national recognition for a publication redesign—all while maintaining the tone and quality befitting one of San Diego’s most prominent independent schools.
Francis Parker School is one of San Diego’s most respected independent institutions—a coeducational, JK–12 college preparatory school serving students across two campuses. Parker’s reputation is built on rigorous academics and a genuine commitment to its community, and that community shows up: in alumni engagement, in parent involvement, and in the donors who fund the school’s continued growth. When Parker needed communications and fundraising materials that matched that reputation, they brought us in.
The most significant engagement was their capital campaign—a major fundraising effort tied to an ambitious campus expansion including a new performing arts center and athletic complex. We designed a suite of direct mail pieces and campaign brochures built to move donors from awareness to action. The campaign hit its goals, and the expansion was completed.
Alongside the capital campaign, we supported Parker’s annual giving program for three consecutive years, developing direct mail pieces that drove consistent, measurable results—year-over-year giving increased throughout our engagement.
We also designed a motion piece shown at Parker’s end-of-year donor event, a moment of gratitude for the community whose support made the expansion possible.
Perhaps the most enduring piece of the engagement was the redesign of Parker Magazine—a seasonal publication for parents, grandparents, and alumni. The existing publication had an audience; our job was to give it a design worthy of their attention. The redesign elevated the look and feel of the magazine and increased engagement among recipients. It also earned a CASE Circle of Excellence Award, a global honor recognizing top-tier work in educational advancement—validation that the work held up against the best in the field.
